WHO REALLY SHOULD BE PRESIDENT?

The United States is already gearing up for next year's presidential election. Several men have already declared their candidacy and are running full tilt. But as the campaign commands ever more attention, few realize the real significance of this election. Who will the next champion be? Which new face or old politico will convince the voters that he and only he is the one with all the leadership qualities and answers? Even though the U.S. presidential election is a year away, the presidential campaign has been going on for over a year now. Taking a page from President Carter's own campaign strategy, a number of candidates began their run for the presidency about two full years before the final votes will be counted. "Once again," as Time magazine says, "the presidential field is prematurely swarming with contenders and pretenders, each selling a face and figure as heaven-sent for White House display."
